Mark Ledsham a 20 year old business student from Manchester has won Mr Gay UK 1999. The Grand final was hosted by the lovely Jane Mcdonald and broadcast again for another year on Channel 5 where figures reached over 1 Million.

The 24 finalists went head to head and battled it out with some effort on stage in front of an audience and panel of judges who then picked their favourite. In conjunction with phone and text message voting, the celebrity judges decided that Mark was this year's winner.

Mark representing Escape in Liverpool goes back with a Grand Prize of £5000 cash plus a holiday to Sydney Mardi Gras Year 2000! and much more to look forward to in the coming year.
