Stoke On Trent ST1 2AT Moniques is a fantastic pub/club with regular drag DJ that will get you in the party mood. Even though the pub is open most nights a week - obviously Friday and Saturday nights are the busiest - the drinks are cheap and cheerful and the music is all fast tempo cheesy tunes to give you your weekly fix of anything from the Nolans to the Sugarbabes. The atmosphere is very relaxed with an Irish pub (it used to be one) type seating area where you can chill - or climb up the wooden hills to Bedfordshire and get on down until you do in fact 'dance yourself dizzy'. Probably one of the best things about Moniques is the constant banter between the DJs and the crowd... you've heard Lily Savage... imagine that on acid and you won't be far wrong - they're funny and 'naughty'... but don't be afraid to give as good as you get!
